The Community Relations Department works to bridge school, home, and community in support of student learning and achievement. At a district level, the Community Liaison uses a multi-layered approach to build community-wide interest in student learning, a stake in student achievement, and involvement in shaping the future of our students.
Recognizing that community support is directly linked to the strength of schools and the success of students, the Community Liaison works with staff, students, parents, community members, Board of Trustees, local businesses and the media in building relationships, sharing information, listening and responding to feedback.
The Community Liaison works with School Community Liaisons to ensure parents and students at each school receive the essential resources and support for student success.
